⚠️ Things to Know / Possible Drawbacks

Slight dimming — Because of the privacy layer, the screen is slightly darker than usual, especially in bright light. You may need to bump up brightness a notch.

Edge visibility — At extreme angles, you can recognize there’s a “black out” effect but can’t see the content. That’s expected and part of the design.

Best in good lighting — In very dark conditions, the privacy effect is stronger, but some faint shadow outline might still be visible.

Make sure your phone screen is perfectly clean before installation—dust or lint will show easily under privacy glass.

Use the alignment tools / stickers to position the protector flat and straight.

Press out any small bubbles by gently pushing from center to edges with a soft cloth.

Increase your screen brightness a little after installation to offset the slight darkening effect.

Keep a spare glass from the pack for future replacement or as a backup.

5 stars. I recently dropped my iPhone and cracked what I thought was the phone screen. I later realized I had bought one of these Alium Glass Screen Protectors. So first – It’s so good I actually didn’t realize or remember for about two weeks that I had a screen guard on my phone- while constantly using it and staring at my phone.
Second, while the screen guard cracked in middle when my phone slipped from about knee high and bounced off the corner of a metal edge on the floor- it only got a small divot in the top middle of the screen; and even with spider cracks out to the edges, still let me keep using the phone. And my actual phone screen was completely saved.

I can replace the protector screen with one of the others in the 3 pack, which ends up being $2 or $3. More importantly – avoid having to deal with trying to get an appointment, leaving my phone for hours, and multiple trips back and forth to the Apple Store.

I will only ever buy these hard type screen protectors from now on.
