Better than expected, I feel I got great value for the price. Full functional as a daily phone. Been using for a month. The camera is the only thing I wish was better but that’s just nitpicking. I’m very happy.

I was surprised by this cellphone. I actually just bought it to have another SIM card and register a number for WhatsApp Business that was different from my personal number, because Voice and TextNow failure. And I love it! My husband was also surprised by the quality. Of course, I don’t use it all the time, but it’s good to have a number for the business. And for the price, it’s better than any other Android phone. The screen has good quality. And it’s super durable. It looks modern and is definitely durable (my baby dropped it once or twice, but the phone is still intact, so it’s scratch resistant), compatible with Tello SIM card for sure! So, of course, it’s 100% unlocked LOL the fingerprint reader is spectacular.

Honestly, not a bad phone. For the price, I’m amazed at how great this phone is. Since it’s unlocked, I just popped in the sim and it’s started going. Also, android 14 Love that.
There were a few updates to software that I needed to do (around 6). And the updates take about 5-10 minutes each.my service isn’t that great so it might be less for you. Also, I noticed that with almost every software update new game apps would appear downloaded. Games I’ve never downloaded or would ever download.
When taking videos/pictures, you notice that it’s not great. But not terrible. It feels like a 2012 picture quality. But since I’m using this phone as a secondary just for calls and texts, that doesn’t bother me at all.
Battery life is great. Actually better than most top flagship phones. The only complaint is the charge rate. But just leave it at night to charge and you’ll have an all day battery the next day.
One thing I did notice to is that sometimes it lags when using multiple apps. For example, Amazon. It doesn’t scroll easily. You can tell when it lags. But that’s not a problem for me. Remember, just phone calls and texts.
The screen quality is amazing. Watching YouTube isn’t a negative experience. The sound quality isn’t the best but sound does come out.
All in all. Great phone. If you’re looking to buy a phone for your kids, this is it. If you don’t want to shell out thousands of dollars on a top tier phone, this is it. There will be compromises to be made but I don’t think you’ll regret it.
Ps. Did this review on the phone itself and the haptic feedback while texting is also great.

It is a nice phone, and it came quickly. It does the job. It is unlocked. I was able to put my sim card in it and use it right away. The only complaint that I have is that I cannot make calls with it. It’s like my mic just for that app does not work and I get network busy. Like I said it does the job. i can at least stay in connection with my peers.

battery life is amazing, it offers a lot of features but no nfc, wifi and bluetooth are decent,

I had a good idea what this phone could do because my wife has used the BLU G64L for 4 months with zero issues, So when my 9yr old phone died I knew this phone would be great, the BLU G64L has great battery life and its a full size phone, with 64GB storage, more than enough for me. It has all the bells & whistles I’ll ever need, for 70.00 your getting much more than a “Basic” phone… You getting a great phone value!!

It is the choice for this price. It works, nothing to complain. Just slow, works slowly, charges slowly. Good to be a backup phone

Design & Aesthetics
The BLU G64L has a sleek, modern look and comes in an attractive color that immediately catches the eye. It feels good in the hand, and from the outside, it seems like a device that could compete in its price range. Unfortunately, the appeal stops at the surface.
Call Performance
A phone’s primary function is communication, and this is where the BLU G64L fails. During outgoing calls, the audio received from the other party is garbled to the point of being unintelligible. Conversations become frustrating because you spend more time asking the person to repeat themselves than actually communicating.
When it comes to incoming calls, the situation is even worse. Callers report being blasted with an unbearably loud noise after the call is answered. Several people described it as deafening. This issue doesn’t just affect usability—it makes the device potentially harmful for anyone on the other end of the line.
Usability & Reliability
Because of the severe call quality issues, the BLU G64L simply cannot be relied upon as a daily driver. While texting, browsing, and appearance may check the box for casual use, the inability to conduct a basic phone conversation makes this model essentially impractical.
Pros and Cons
**Pros:**
– Attractive color and design
**Cons:**
– Garbled sound during outgoing calls
– Deafening noise reported by incoming callers
– Unreliable for basic phone use
– Major performance issues overshadow aesthetics
Final Verdict
The BLU G64L might look good, but a phone’s most critical feature is its ability to handle calls effectively. With both outgoing and incoming audio plagued by serious issues, the BLU G64L cannot be recommended. Unless these problems are addressed in future updates or revisions, consumers are better off considering alternative models that balance style with reliable performance.
